my little girl Kayleigh was born an healthy little girl weighing 6ib.13.oz on the 24th september 1996 she fell asleep on the 19th january 1997 aged 16 weeks, she passed from sudden infant death syndrome.
My sweet kayleigh its been such a long time since i saw your beautiful face touched your soft skin not a day goes by where i don't think of you you touched so many lives in your stay with me god took you too soon but i came to realise you were only borrowed never mine to keep 1 day 2 will become 1 again you meant everything to me and you always will it was your time no matter how short and my sweet beautiful angel the reunion will be better.

As I travel across this land
There is something missing today
It’s my Angel child
The one God took away
He gave me that beautiful child
Then he took them straight away
What was the point I asked
As I knelt down and prayed
I never got to see my child play
And grow like all the others
I thought Lord that was my job
A child, and me to be the Mother.
I never even got any warning
Nothing was ever said
I woke up that sunny morning
To find my sweet child dead.
You gave them life, you stole it
You broke my heart in two
Why? Why? Dear Lord
That’s all I ask from you?

When you look into the sky
and see a shining star
think of me and send a kiss

When you see the moonlight
dancing on the sea
feel a kiss brush on your cheek
thats a kiss from me
When the sun is bright upon the fields
and there's flowers everywhere
